Rev Tim Richards
REV TIM RICHARDS

Tim and his wife Ali joined the Group on July 9th 2005 at his ordination in Street URC. They have a young child, Leah May and live in Curry Rivel.

Tim has had a varied life, having been a drama student in his early twenties (at College with Lesley Grantham of Eastenders) and then worked at the Bristol Old Vic in a number of productions. One of his early colleagues was Tony Robinson (Baldrick in 'Blackadder' and lately the presenter of 'Time Team'. Tim also worked, later in the retail trade (John Lewis) before heeding the 'call' (which came gradually) to train for the ministry. He had trained as a lay preacher and went to theological college in Cambridge, and worked widely in various churches in the Peterborough and St Ives area.

One of his ambitions is to be a chaplain at the Glastonbury Rock Festival one day!
